Refund and Cancellation Policy for Waffle

Last updated: July 20, 2026

This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how subscriptions to Waffle are cancelled and when refunds are available. Waffle is operated by Friskly AB (organization number 559500-7526, Swedish VAT number SE559500752601), Färögatan 33, 164 51 Kista, Sweden. This policy forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. Free Trial

New paid subscriptions may include a free trial of fourteen (14) days. Payment details are collected at sign-up, but you are not charged during the trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged and your subscription ends when the trial ends. If you do not cancel, your subscription begins automatically when the trial ends, and your selected plan is charged to your payment method.

2. How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time yourself, through the self-service billing portal inside the Service. No phone call or email is required. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period. You keep access to your paid plan until the end of that period, after which the subscription is not renewed and access to paid features ends.

If you cancel a monthly plan, access continues until the end of the current month you have paid for. If you cancel a yearly plan, access continues until the end of the year you have already paid for.

3. Renewals and Charges After Cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Cancelling does not, by itself, refund a charge that has already been made for the current period, except as set out in Section 5 (right of withdrawal) or as required by applicable mandatory law.

4. Refunds After Use

Fees for a paid period that has already started are, as a general rule, non-refundable for unused time once the Service has been made available for that period. This means that after a billing period has begun and the Service has been provided, we do not provide pro-rated refunds for the remainder of that period on cancellation. This general rule is subject to the EU right of withdrawal described in Section 5 and to any other mandatory rights you may have under applicable law.

5. EU 14-Day Right of Withdrawal (Consumers)

If you are a consumer within the meaning of applicable EU consumer protection law, you have the right to withdraw from your subscription within fourteen (14) days of entering into it, without giving a reason.

Express consent to immediate performance and waiver. Because Waffle is a digital service that we begin providing to you immediately upon subscription, by starting to use the Service (or by requesting that we begin providing it) before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period, you expressly consent to the immediate performance of the Service and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the Service has been fully performed. If you exercise your right of withdrawal after performance has begun but before it is fully performed, you may be required to pay an amount proportionate to the Service provided up to the point you inform us of your withdrawal.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, contact us at support@trywaffle.app with a clear statement of your decision to withdraw before the 14-day period ends. This right applies only to consumers and does not apply to business customers (see Section 6).

6. Business Customers

Waffle is primarily offered to organizations for business use (näringsidkare). If you subscribe on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are entering into the agreement for that organization and not as a consumer. The consumer right of withdrawal described in Section 5 does not apply to business customers. Business subscriptions follow the cancellation and non-refund terms set out in Sections 2 through 4.

7. Billing Errors and Support

If you believe you have been charged in error, or if you have any other billing question, contact us at support@trywaffle.app. We will review the matter promptly and, where a charge was made in error, correct it. Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory rights you may have under applicable law.
